Renaissance Home Connect improves the school-to-home connection by allowing parents and students to log in to a website and view the student’s reading and math practice and progress towards goals. Access to online results promotes discussion between parents and students, which motivates students and can make reading and math practice even more effective. In addition, parents can specify up to six email addresses to receive automatic updates in English or Spanish on their student’s math and reading progress.
Parents may view their child’s progress in Accelerated
Reader (AR) and view books for which quizzes have already been taken simply by
accessing Home Connect from any computer with internet access. HomeConnect also
allows you to specify the guardians who are to receive updates of your child’s
progress. Emails that contain results of any Accelerated Reader quizzes your child
completes will be sent to any guardian signed up to received notifications. To
log in, click on Renaissance Home Connect image below (bottom left). and enter the user name and password your
child uses to access the AR program at school. If needed, click “Email Setup”
